Detour = extra miles versus your normal route, there and back. A station on your commute is 0 no matter how far it is from home. A big detour hurts a small fill more than a big one. Seven miles at 30 mph is 14 minutes — set what an hour is worth to you and the detour gets honest.

The softest number on the page. AAA's lab test found non-Top-Tier gasoline left 19× more engine deposits after 4,000 simulated miles. A $400 injector cleaning every 60,000 miles works out near 17¢ a gallon; every 150,000 miles, near 7¢. Set it to 0 to ignore quality entirely.
